Special Needs Dentistry
We are committed to providing the best dental care for ALL our patients, regardless of their developmental or other special health care needs.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry defines persons with special healthcare needs as "individuals with a physical, developmental, mental, behavioral, cognitive or emotional impairment or limiting condition that requires medical management, healthcare intervention and the use of specialized services or programs." Our doctors have received extra training to provide excellent care for these special patients.
If necessary, children with special needs may receive dental treatment under anesthesia at Children's Hospitals & Clinics in Minneapolis and Minnetonka.
